About Danielle
I have been fascinated by pregnancy, childbirth and newborns since I was a little girl. For me, working with women, babies and families during such a mystical and amazing time in their lives is a calling and an honor.
My first experience as a birth doula was over 9 years ago, and I have been hooked on doula-ing ever since. After having walked through pregnancy, childbirth and life with a newborn twice with my own children, I have a stronger understanding of how women and families can be supported once the baby(ies) come home. I am passionate about supporting, empowering and encouraging families through the amazing transition that is the postpartum period. I grew up in Delaware County, where I currently live with my husband and our two children. I received my Bachelor of the Arts in Psychology from West Chester University and Masters of Science in Human Service Management from Franklin University in Columbus, OH. I am certified through Doulas of North America (DONA) . -Danielle Lucifero Sheahan, MS, PCD(DONA) |
